This musical project, working name "555", will be futurist black metal. It will aim to combine the intensity and spiritual angst of black metal, the emotional immediacy and machinic timbres of queer electronic music, a classically inspired focus on harmonic counterpoint and thematic structure, and Christian religious longing and eschatological hope. The actually achieved combination of these elements will unlock a higher freedom of the human soul stretching out in infinite futurity towards the hearts of Jesus and Mary. I am interested in philosophy, religious esotericism, and technofuturism and the music that I create is connected directly and often inspired by experiences and revelations from these domains. I play electric guitar and scream/sing. I have the gear to switch to bass or possibly keyboard if it would best serve the project. A drummer is probably the first thing needed, but I would implore any musician who finds resonance with my project to contact me and see where things lead.
